We accomplish our goal of creating the best homes in the world by focusing on one product type: residential.
This concentration gives us the ability to develop a unique expertise in design and construction in a single category.
Our tag line “Vacation Begins at Home” describes our goal of designing living environments that are uniquely engaging, that give a sense of inspiration and create direct connections with landscape and nature.
We design each project according to the unique aspects of the site and surrounding environment. We use a variety of colors and materials, each project has a different pallet selected to achieve the spacial and emotional effects of the overall composition.
As licensed architects and general contractors, we make sure that the project vision is carried from concept to completion.
Our team members know our aesthetic goals, share our work ethic and execute according to the highest industry standards.
We work with the best engineers, consultants, suppliers and craftsmen to make sure that the delivery process is to the highest standards.
We have worked with many of the same craftsman for years developing relationships that foster collaboration, creativity and a mutual desire to build to the highest level of quality possible. And we are always striving to learn new techniques, use new materials and expand our expertise.
A great team is essential to realizing the product vision.
Production & Technology
Our production process includes modelling all of the building and landscape features using 3D Building Information Management (BIM) software. With the 3D BIM model we are able to explore the project at different scales and create in great detail all of the components and spaces to the desired effect.
We use the model to generate all of the drawings that are required including city permit sheets and those that are given to each building trade for construction and fabrication. We add all building systems including structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing and viewing the 3D imagery with each trade improves contractor understanding and coordination.
Usually we generate from 30 to 100 drawings per project for suppliers, fabricators and contractors in addition to those required for permitting.
We value our relationships with the construction team, we communicate with our buyers after the sale, we travel the world to experience art and architecture, we volunteer at University Architecture programs and tutor students.
We enjoy all phases of the process and are fortunate to be able to design and build each project.
